Bounce into Summer!
We were delighted to host King’s Church West Lothian’s BBQ & Bounce on the 28th of June. After the service, they set up a giant inflatable slide and a BBQ out in the park - both were a huge hit. The kids loved the slide, and the food was delicious! It was a fantastic way to kick off the summer. ☀️🛝

A great day filled with fun, laughter, stalls, shows and most importantly, our local community.

Celebrating Another Successful Year Together
We had a fantastic time at our AGM on Monday 25th May, bringing together members, volunteers, and supporters to reflect on the past year and look ahead to the future. It was a great opportunity to celebrate achievements, share updates, and thank everyone who contributes to the centre. We appreciate all who attended and helped make the evening such a success. Celebrating at the UCEC AGM

Open more than ever
At Uphall Community Centre, momentum is building. We recently upgraded our door system for easier self-access, ensuring our space stays open and accessible. This April, we offered a record-breaking 1,444 spaces for local groups. While comparisons are difficult from the WLC system - this could be in the region of a 33% increase on previous centre use. It’s official! West Lothian Council has approved our Community Asset Transfer, putting Uphall Community Centre in local hands. By uniting the local users and church in a new organisation: Uphall Community Trust with Kings Church West Lothian SCIO, we’ve secured this space for generations.
